Amy Lynn talks with students Natalie Ripley and Morgan Solomon, two students taking AP courses thanks to the AP Access to All program through the Niswonger Foundation.
Also, joining them is Shana Russell, Chuckey Doak High School Counselor who shares her thoughts on the program.
Dr. Mia Hyde, Director of Comprehensive Resources at the Niswonger Foundation and Emily Wells, Community Health Engagement Specialist with Ballad Health STRONG ACC tell us about the Kindergarten Readiness program and how it’s helping children prepare for the early years of school.
Hope Malone also joins them to talk about the impact this program has on Hawkins County Elementary School.
Dr. Debra Bentley, Director of Project on Track joins Amy Lynn to tell us more about this program in our area schools. Also joining them is Dr. Kyle Loudermilk, Principal of Sevier Middle School in Kingsport. He has seen this program in action and shares his thoughts on the difference it is making.
